So many diets and exercise plans out there, so many experts, and so many conflicting theories about how you can lose weight, so which one should you follow? The answer is simple: develop your own intuition so that you know instantly what your own body needs. Below are some suggestions as to how you can […]
I love 20-rep squats! They are undoubtedly the king of exercises, and their benefits are seemingly unlimited. They seem to fit into any and all exercise systems out there, and the results they give go far beyond what you’d expect for what on the face of it is just a simple leg exercise. Let’s look […]
Do you really need a warm-up for a yoga session? Isn’t yoga gentle enough on its own? If you need a little kickstart, how about just doing some sun salutes? The answers are, repectively… Maybe not, probably, and yes, often that’s enough… But haven’t you ever got a couple of postures into your routine and […]
Ok, so what does it mean to be super-healthy? Is it to get muscular, or fit, or just to get your abs out? A lot of this type of physical-only goal is pushed by the media these days, but are the models in the photos really super-healthy? Well, maybe, and maybe not. A lot of […]
You know how it is – you’ve had a great day, or even a bad one; you’ve done your workout in the morning and eaten well, you’ve had a full day, the kids are finally in bed, and then when it comes time to chill out in the evening, all you want to do is […]
“After this whole experience I really feel like a new person. As I write I have no swelling and no inflammation. I have gone from 103kg to 86kg since we last spoke. My stomach has become a lot more sensitive to intake it is not keen on. I no longer get regular headaches. My outlook on life also changed, in that I realised more deeply the impermanence of this reality and the importance of living in the moment and not getting uptight about a future which has no guarantee. Despite all the pain and extremely low moments I went through in October, I can now see that it was a very liberating experience.” HG.- Testimonials
Phil Escott is a health writer, personal trainer, novelist and drummer who has spent many years in the health and fitness industry, running a gym, writing for many magazines and training hundreds of clients successfully. Due to a crippling bout of inflammatory arthritis in 2010, which he reversed by natural means, further intense study revealed many “secrets” of healing normally hidden behind the misleading conventional medical and “health” dogma. His aim now is to share this knowledge with as many as possible to help them attain their health and happiness goals too.
- About Phil Escott
Because of my own history, I have a special interest in helping people overcome autoimmune conditions, and/or people who have been broken by long-term grain and sugar-based SAD or vegetarian diets, particularly those people of a “spiritual” nature who have gradually found that their inherited dogma and “healthy” diets have gradually resulted in significant health problems. I’m also very interested in speaking at arthritis or diabetes support groups etc and doing Skype consultations with anyone who wants to find their way out of the mire of pharmaceutical “cures” that do more harm than good and find their way back to vibrant health. You are probably wondering why you would think of having personal training or consultations from me, among other questions. Well, ask away…- Consultations
