“Science” – is it actually science?

Posted by

I’ve had a lot of cause to think about science this week, or mainly about our attitudes to it. I had a two-day run-in on Messenger with a friend (at least I hope he’s still a friend), which got quite heated about whether certain aspects of healing were scientific. It was very interesting and brought […]

My top twenty lies that keep people ill…

Below are my top twenty lies that keep people ill, depressed, lacking intuition and falling well short of their potential… but first… Who exactly am I? Why do I bother to post about all this health related stuff? This is the question I asked myself as I wrote one of my controversial long replies to […]

You’re not a doctor! Who the fuck do you think you are?

Big medical rant coming up. This has been brewing for a while, and I need to get it off my chest, so don’t read this if you don’t like swearing and passion. I keep getting dragged into discussions and arguments about all sorts of aspects of the medical profession, science, etc, and I often run […]

The Importance Of Feeling The Seasons.

Posted by

Most people are not even conscious of how the seasons affect us. If they are, their awareness usually goes only as far as a vague attempt to eat seasonally, if that, but even the full reasons for this are not understood. In the end most people just take notice of the daft government guidelines […]

What Actually Causes Autoimmunity?

Posted by

If you are familiar with the medical view involving confusing theories relating to T cells, cytokine storms, dodgy HLA genes, unexplained flare-ups and total denial that diet and lifestyle (and much less emotional issues) can have any beneficial effect, you would be forgiven for giving up hope of finding what actually causes autoimmunity. You might […]

Testimonials

“After this whole experience I really feel like a new person. As I write I have no swelling and no inflammation. I have gone from 103kg to 86kg since we last spoke. My stomach has become a lot more sensitive to intake it is not keen on. I no longer get regular headaches. My outlook on life also changed, in that I realised more deeply the impermanence of this reality and the importance of living in the moment and not getting uptight about a future which has no guarantee. Despite all the pain and extremely low moments I went through in October, I can now see that it was a very liberating experience.” HG.

About Phil Escott

Phil Escott is a health writer, personal trainer, novelist and drummer who has spent many years in the health and fitness industry, running a gym, writing for many magazines and training hundreds of clients successfully. Due to a crippling bout of inflammatory arthritis in 2010, which he reversed by natural means, further intense study revealed many “secrets” of healing normally hidden behind the misleading conventional medical and “health” dogma. His aim now is to share this knowledge with as many as possible to help them attain their health and happiness goals too.

Consultations

Because of my own history, I have a special interest in helping people overcome autoimmune conditions, and/or people who have been broken by long-term grain and sugar-based SAD or vegetarian diets, particularly those people of a “spiritual” nature who have gradually found that their inherited dogma and “healthy” diets have gradually resulted in significant health problems. I’m also very interested in speaking at arthritis or diabetes support groups etc and doing Skype consultations with anyone who wants to find their way out of the mire of pharmaceutical “cures” that do more harm than good and find their way back to vibrant health. You are probably wondering why you would think of having personal training or consultations from me, among other questions. Well, ask away…
